Forest Park FC - The History
Forest Park FC were formed from the ashes of Frogmore Park FC who enjoyed two seasons in the Camberley & District Sunday Football League in 2001/2 and 2002/3. Honorary chairman and occaisional goalkeeper Paul Gibbs got some of the old Frogmore players back together and with a few new faces we managed to get a squad together in time for the 2004/5 season where we entered Division 3. We nearly ran out of players during this first season but we finished the season on a high by finishing 3rd in the league and getting promotion to Div 2. Our second season as PSU saw the team consolidate our position in Div 2 by finishing 4th and we finished mid table in 2006/7. Hope springs eternal for 2007/8 under the guidance of our new manager Wayne Monk!
